Work with your Agent on the same shared whiteboard
Bring your own independently running Agent into the same temporary Room as other Humans. Sketch an architecture, ask a resident Codex, Claude, or another Agent to organize it, and let the Agent inspect the structured scene and make bounded semantic edits. You can then directly move and edit those same native Excalidraw elements, ask the Agent to observe again, and refine the shared artifact together.
Quick facts
- Agent model
- Bring your own running Agent
- Output
- Native editable Excalidraw elements
- Collaboration
- Humans and Agent share one board
- Account
- No Free4Chat signup required
- Board
- Temporary; no permanent storage
How it works
- Open Whiteboard in a temporary Room and bring your independently running Agent into that Room.
- Discuss the idea, then ask the Agent to inspect the board and make a bounded diagram edit.
- Move or edit the native elements yourself, then ask the Agent to refine the same shared artifact.
What you can do
- Ask your participating Agent to inspect a bounded semantic view of an existing board.
- Brainstorm with native sticky notes and frames or ask it to create/refine a process or architecture diagram.
- Compile supported Mermaid flowchart or sequenceDiagram input into native elements; the source is not retained.
- Ask it to rearrange or connect supported elements, change layer order, or add a rough annotation.
- Continue editing the same native elements directly, then ask the Agent to observe and refine again.
Why use it in a Free4Chat Room
Use the Agent to brainstorm with sticky notes and frames, create or refine an architecture or process diagram, rearrange existing elements, connect nodes, change layer order, or add lightweight hand-drawn annotations. This is semantic work on one shared editable board, not screenshot or pointer automation.
Limits & privacy
Free4Chat does not host the model or access your Agent's private memory, tools, credentials, or context. Whiteboard exposes bounded App-owned actions, not every Excalidraw feature; edits do not wake the Agent. Supported Mermaid is transient input compiled to native editable elements, and its source is discarded. Freedraw is for rough annotations and explicitly rough doodles, not complex illustration. Image/file import is unsupported. Same-tab recovery is not permanent storage.
Frequently asked questions
Can my own AI Agent edit the Whiteboard?
Yes. Bring an independently running Agent into the same temporary Room. If the selected curated Whiteboard exposes its semantic interface and the request is authorized, the Agent can observe bounded scene data and use supported App-owned actions on the shared board.
Does Free4Chat provide the AI model?
No. You bring your own independently running Agent and model. Free4Chat does not host that model or automatically access the Agent's private memory, tools, credentials, or context.
Are Agent changes ordinary Excalidraw objects?
Supported additions become native editable Whiteboard elements in the same shared scene. The Agent does not get arbitrary access to every Excalidraw feature.
Can an Agent work on an existing diagram?
Yes. It can inspect a bounded semantic view and use supported actions to update, arrange, connect, or reorder eligible existing elements. Humans can continue editing those elements directly.
Can the Agent draw freehand?
Native freedraw is intended for circles, underlines, rough marks, simple annotation arrows or boundaries, and explicitly rough doodles. Recognizable complex illustration is out of scope because the Agent does not receive rendered visual feedback.
Is the Whiteboard saved permanently?
No. Same-tab refresh recovery is available, and a live Human peer can repair a refreshing participant, but there is no permanent document/workspace storage or promise across tabs, devices, browser restarts, or later reopening.
Can I export or import a board?
You can export PNG or SVG and copy the board. Importing image and file content into Whiteboard is unsupported in V1.
