Break the ice with one shared conversation prompt

Icebreakers turns the first awkward minutes of a meeting or class into one shared prompt. Choose a mode, start a round, and everyone answers from their own phone or laptop while the Room's voice and chat carry the conversation. When the group is ready, reveal the result, talk about what came back, and start the next prompt.

  2. Start a round and let everyone answer from their own screen.
  3. Reveal the result, talk about it, then press Next prompt.

What you can do

Why use it in a Free4Chat Room

It runs inside the Room you are already in, so there is nothing to install and no signup. The Room link is the whole invitation, the prompt appears on every screen at once, and the answer controls are the same for everybody: there is no host role, no waiting room and no separate lobby to coordinate.

Limits & privacy

There are three modes and no more: Would You Rather offers one dilemma with two sides, Most Likely To asks everyone to name the person who fits a line, and Talk About It collects no answers at all. Choices and tallies are hidden by the App's own behaviour until a round is revealed, and that is the whole claim — they are not encrypted, anonymous or private, and any Human can reveal or move on. Nothing is stored, and the round disappears with the Room.

Frequently asked questions

Do participants need an account?

No. Anyone with the Room link joins the same round, and there is no signup, profile or install.

Is there a host or moderator?

No. Every mode is open to every Human in the Room: anyone can start a round, reveal a result or move to the next prompt.

Are the answers private?

They are hidden by the App's behaviour until a round is revealed, and nothing beyond that is claimed. Answers are not encrypted or anonymous, and the Room knows who is present.

Can we play more than one round?

Yes. After a reveal, Next prompt draws a new one, and the mode can be changed between rounds at any time.

Is anything saved afterwards?

No. Rounds are temporary Room state with no history or export, and they disappear with the Room.
