Run a live poll with the people in your Room
Live Poll asks the Room one question at a time. The host writes the question and two to six choices, opens voting, and everyone in the Room taps an answer on their own screen while voice and chat carry the discussion.

How it works
- Open Live Poll in a Room and write the question and its choices.
- Open the poll and let everyone tap an answer.
- Reveal the count, then start the next question.
What you can do
- Ask one question with two to six short choices.
- See how many people have answered without seeing their choices.
- Close, reveal, then ask the next question.
- Keep the Room's voice and chat beside the poll.
Why use it in a Free4Chat Room
Results stay hidden while voting is open: everyone sees how many people have answered, and only the host sees the running counts. Close ends voting, Reveal publishes the tally, and Next clears the Room for a different question.
Limits & privacy
Each poll belongs to the Room it was opened in. There is no signup, no persistent poll library, no audience analytics and no exported report; the poll is temporary Room state and disappears with the Room. Free4Chat is not a survey platform, and the tally is a count of taps rather than a certified election result.
Frequently asked questions
Who can see the tally before the reveal?
Only the host. Everyone else sees how many people have responded, never the running counts.
Are the poll results saved?
No. The poll is temporary Room state with no permanent library, so note the numbers down if you need them later.
Can we ask more than one question?
Yes, one at a time: after Reveal, Next clears the Room and the host opens the following question.
Is this a survey tool?
No. It is a quick in-the-moment poll for the people already in the Room, with no audience beyond them and no reporting.
