Run a team retrospective in one temporary Room

Retrospective is a shared sticky-note board for sprint retrospectives, project wrap-ups and team check-ins. Everyone writes their own cards, reveals them together, groups related points, votes on what matters most, and turns the discussion into action items.

How it works

  1. Open Retrospective in a Room and share the Room link with your team.
  2. Everyone writes cards privately, then the board is revealed together.
  3. Group and vote on what matters, agree on actions, and export the summary.

What you can do

Why use it in a Free4Chat Room

Share one Room link and the whole team arrives on the same board, so the retrospective happens where the conversation already is. Voice and chat stay beside the board, and there is nothing to install, no account to create and no workspace to come back to afterwards.

Limits & privacy

What you type stays in your own browser until the board is revealed, so a reload can clear an unpublished draft. The board itself is temporary: it lives in the browsers that are in the Room and is not saved permanently, so export the Markdown summary before everyone leaves. Voting is attributed to the people in the Room, and each template holds one bounded board.

Frequently asked questions

Is the retrospective board free?

Yes. Open it in a Free4Chat Room and use it without an account or a separate subscription.

Do participants need an account?

No. Anyone with the Room link joins the same board, and no signup or workspace is required.

Which retrospective formats are included?

Start / Stop / Continue, Went well / To improve / Actions, and Mad / Sad / Glad — each with an Actions column.

Are cards visible before the reveal?

No. A card stays in the browser that wrote it until someone reveals the board; revealing publishes the unpublished cards in the Room.

Can we keep the result?

Yes. Export the revealed board as Markdown before the Room ends. The board itself is temporary and is not stored permanently.
